Construction of the Aluminerie Alouette Inc. smelter in Sept Iles, Quebec, Canada (AMAG interest of 20 %); production launched in 1992

AMAG privatisation

Enlargement of Alouette smelter output from 243,000 t/y to 550,000 t/y (AMAG share 20 %); completed mid-2005

2012

Construction decision for new hot rolling mill -  groundbreaking ceremony April 2012

2014

The new AMAG hot rolling mill starts production.

2015

Groundbreaking ceremony for new cold rolling mill in September 2015

2017

On 22 June 2017, the new cold rolling mill was officially opened with a celebration, in which 700 guests participated.
